Long time no see.

It's been a long time since I updated this blog, I can't really be bothered checking right now but I'm sure it's been a couple of weeks.  I thought that maybe I should post here so anyone who actually does care about my life/my posts on here can see that I haven't fallen off the planet completely.

It's currently 3:25AM and I'm sitting here at the computer, watching an episode of Whale Wars (Animal Planet's 7 part TV show about the Sea Shepard Conservation Society's campaign in Antarctica last summer), checking my shit on the internet and just doing this blog post. I don't know why I'm up so late, I stayed up really late finishing a book I was reading and then I guess I couldn't sleep. This is probably all a bad idea considering I have my sisters University Graduation in literally 7 and a half hours and I have to go into uni in the morning and then make my way to South Bank.

I've been so busy of late that I think I completely forgot this blog even existed. In between working 2 jobs and doing a University course I guess there's not that much more time to go around. I literally clocked in over 24 hours worth of work over saturday and sunday last week. Fuck. I went to uni the last 2 mornings and spent both afternoons at work and came home both nights to finish a uni assignment (thanks to the lecturer taking ages to teach us the work required to finish the assignment, cheers mate haha).

Most of my thoughts these days seem to be about planning/setting up for my trip to America next year or more future university career and hell, going overseas seems so exciting at the moment (and my university future is so much in my head right now) that the two have combined themselves in my head and I'm even contemplating trying to head to the states again in 2o10 on student exchange.  It's an idea I wanted to do in the past but bailed on it because I didn't want to spend half a year in the states alone/ didn't know if I could afford it. Hopefully I can raise the money in 12 months and hopefully Sean would be able to get a US work visa and come hang. I dunno, it all seems pretty up in the air right now, but maybe I'll make it work.

Also, Sean made a pretty detailed breakdown of our planned trip to the states on his blog a few days ago, which has just stopped me from doing a similar post on here (as there's no way I can compete with the effort he's gone to haha), check it out here

I think that's all I have to say for now, I'm out. I should really go to bed but this episode of whale wars is half over now and it's also getting quite exciting haha.

Undertow

Our American travel plans changed yesterday after the announcment of a second Burning Fight Book Release show in the US. We're now moving our 2 week trip back another week so we are able to see a show in Pomona, California with Unbroken and Undertow. I'm excited because Undertow were meant to play the original Burning Fight show but were then never announced.

Listen to this band. They are probably one of the toughest, raddest straight edge hardcore bands of the last 20 years. They have a discography called 'Everything' out on Indecision Records (the same label that did the Unbroken discography discs and released early material but Bleeding Through, Death by Stereo and Throwdown), it's well worth your time.
